Kids Against Hunger

Saturday, January 30 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. join us as we pack meals to help fight hunger!

Every hour of every day 10 children per minute die of starvation or malnutrition related diseases. Kids Against Hunger is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to end that tragedy. Kids Against Hunger packages and ships highly nutritious, life-saving meals to starving and malnourished children in developing countries and the United States. We do this by mobilizing the energy and caring of American children, teens, and adults on behalf of hungry children around the world. Kids Against Hunger seeks to end the literal hunger of poor children receiving the meals, but also satisfies a hunger among prosperous Americans, a hunger for meaning and contribution.

Baby Shower to support Family Life Services

Sunday, January 31 9:40-10:40 a.m. (during Sunday School)

A child is a gift from God and every baby is a reason for rejoicing, unless you are too young, too frightened, too poor, too alone, or too confused.  For some, abortion is an easy way out.  For others, it seems the only way out, if only there were another way. . . a way to give life.

Family Life Services/Pregnancy Counseling Center: We serve every woman or couple who comes to our door.  Our services are provided free of charge and there are no strings attached.  We provide a truthful and caring exploration of all available options and offer practical alternatives. Our clients are free to make their own choices, but no matter what their decision may be, we serve them with respect and confidentiality.  There is no condemnation , no judgment.

Please bring in an unwrapped gift to share with these women and their children.  Diapers (sizes newborn, 4, 5, & 6 especially), bassinets, baby hygiene items, and larger maternity clothes are the most needed right now, but anything helps!  Thank you!

Online Giving

Matthew 6:21 "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." If you're ready to make a difference; if you're ready to influence the world, this is your opportunity! Whether you bring your tithe as a step of obedience to the Word of God or contribute as an act of generosity, your money will result in more return here than any other place in the world, a return evident in lives changed. Your contributions will help spread Christ's message of hope and freedom to so many people and places in our area and around the world. From giving a single gift to scheduling an ongoing contribution or viewing your giving history, you can do it here.

Why Give Online?

Giving online is convenient. You don't have to worry about writing your contribution checks during the service, but can instead enjoy your worship experience knowing that you have already given your contributions. Also, if you are not able to attend worship services, you are able to have the benefit of giving online at your convenience.
