Sunday Morning Bible Study at 9:45 a.m. in the Family Life Center. Led by Pastor Polzin
“Small Catechism, Big Faith: Part One” Join us as we explore the rich truths of the Christian faith using Martin Luther’s Small Catechism. Luther wrote the Small Catechism in 1529 after discovering that many pastors, parents, and church members lacked a basic understanding of Christian teaching. Designed as a simple guide for teaching the faith in the home and church, it remains a powerful resource for all Christians today. Come discover how this small book continues to build a big faith in Christ. Led by Pastor Polzin this sturdy meet in the Family Life Center and on Zoom.

ADULT INFORMATION/NEW MEMBER CLASS: This class gives an overview of the major teachings found in the Bible. New members will be able to gain an understanding of Lutheran teachings and be able to ask questions in areas they are unfamiliar with. Women’s Wednesday Morning Bible Study: 9:30 a.m. in room 2/3 and on Zoom
Current study "Philippians: Living in the Joy of Christ". Chained to a Roman guard and facing a possible death sentence, Paul wrote a letter overflowing with joy. How could Paul remain so joyful in such suffering? We want to know because we want to live in joy like Paul - brimming with grace, love, and a passion for souls. We want our joy to remain melded with Christ, uninhibited by hardships or suffering. We are baffled by Paul's ability to deal with suffering and marvel at his joyful thoughts in the midst of such hardship. But grace infuses Paul's heart - it moves him to suffer, strive, and share Christ at every opportunity. His heart is full, his mind is focused, and his joy is radiant. Truth pours from Scripture with the clear message that we are also given the privilege of living in the joy of Christ.

Mom’s Group: Meets 6:30 p.m. in room 6. Mom’s of school-aged children are invited to join us as we study Ruth: Fields of Grace from The Daily Grace Co. “The short book of Ruth is packed with grace and truth for every season of life. It is a reminder that God is present in the waiting and the ordinary.” Each Wednesday, we’ll work through the study together—reading Scripture, discussing the lesson, and answering the questions as a group. There’s no homework outside of our Wednesday gatherings, so come when you can! Led by Kelsey Schneider and Alex Eberhart.

(Young) Adult Bible Study - D360: Nine Conversations About Whole-life Discipleship.
Led by Greg Witto, Director of Family Life Ministry, meets in Room 11 on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
All young adults are invited. This Bible-study, helps young-adult Christians respond to Jesus' Great Commission and develop as disciples of Jesus Christ. The book, of the same title, is the basis for this study as author Greg Koenig keeps what he calls "churchy language" to a minimum, with plenty of biblical citations to help those who enjoy study, and reflection as they grow in faith.

Young at heart - for those age 50+
Meets in the Family Life Center on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month for Bible study with Pastor Polzin. Current study is “Romans”. Paul’s letter to the Romans is one of the most foundational books of the Bible for our Christian faith. He wrote to the churches in Rome, “I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.” The apostle had witnessed God do amazing, eternity-changing things in his life, and now he shares with the Romans about how the Gospel creates for us a new identity, a new life, and a new reality of belonging in Christ. Join the Young at Heart group as we study Paul’s Letter to the Romans. Anyone of any age is welcome, either in person or on Zoom.
GRIEFSHARE MEEtS ThursdayS from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

GRIEFSHARE:
Being separated from a loved one can be one of the most difficult and devastating times of life. During these times, we may feel extremely overwhelmed and may wonder if joy will ever return to our lives.
But there is hope. The Grief Share ministry offers support, encouragement, and guidance through this difficult time. Using a Biblical approach to grief, along with video comments from people who have walked through times of grief, and from experts who help provide the bigger picture of how to best navigate grief, and being together with others who are making this difficult journey, we find reliable guidance and encouragement.
There are 13 2-hour sessions in each Grief Share series. Each session explores a different aspect of grief. Participants are encouraged to attend at least 3 sessions to make sure that the sessions are helpful for them. The sessions do not have to be viewed in order.
It is helpful to preregister for the series by going to www.griefshare.org and selecting “Find a Group”. Enter the Saline zip code, 48176 or use this LINK HERE. Then complete the registration information under Christ Our King. However, preregistration is not required.
