Welcome!

Whether you are a new friend, one who is searching, or a long-standing member you can find out all about Christ Our King here. As a community of forgiven people in Jesus Christ, we are eager for you to join us. We combine simple, life-focused messages, a welcoming atmosphere and a diverse set of ministries for children, youth, young adults, men and women, seniors, small groups, familes and more. It is our prayer that the information contained in this site will help you to better understand both our mission and ministry and perhaps might give us the opportunity to help you connect with Jesus.

FOR FIRST TIME VISITORS

  • CHILDREN’S CHURCH: Available at the 8:15 a.m. Worship service only. Children, ages 4-4th grade, have the opportunity to go from the Sanctuary to hear a special children’s sermon.
  • CHURCH NURSERY: There is a staffed nursery available in room 9 for children ages 0-3 during Sunday School and the 11:00 a.m. service.
  • BLESSING BAGS: Crayons and coloring pictures all in a nice blue or pink bag are available to help keep your little one busy. These bags are  located in the Welcome Center located on your left as you walk into the church Narthex at the front of the church.
  • IMPROVED HEARING FOR HEARING AID USERS: Christ Our King now has an audio loop system installed in the sanctuary to nearly double the performance of hearing aids. The audio loop (also known as hearing loop) amplifies the sound from microphones using wires installed around the sanctuary. Audio Loop Systems are now being installed in all new public buildings and have been installed in churches, concert halls, universities and other buildings such as the MSU Breslin Center. The clear, concise, customized sound that is free of echo and nearly all background noise is available for people wearing telecoil (T-coil) equipped hearing aids. Most hearing aids have a T-switch on them which turns off the microphone and only picks up sound from the loop system. Some hearing aids have an “MT” setting which allows both the microphone and telecoil to be active. Completely-in-canal and invisible-in-canal hearing aids do not have T-coils due to their small sizes. Ask your hearing professional how you can benefit from a telecoil in your hearing aids. For those without hearing aids, there are two headsets that use the technology located near the organ that can be used. Questions or comments, see Rich Lynch. Feedback is appreciated.

Online Giving

Matthew 6:21 "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." If you're ready to make a difference; if you're ready to influence the world, this is your opportunity! Whether you bring your tithe as a step of obedience to the Word of God or contribute as an act of generosity, your money will result in more return here than any other place in the world, a return evident in lives changed. Your contributions will help spread Christ's message of hope and freedom to so many people and places in our area and around the world. From giving a single gift to scheduling an ongoing contribution or viewing your giving history, you can do it here.

Why Give Online?

Giving online is convenient. You don't have to worry about writing your contribution checks during the service, but can instead enjoy your worship experience knowing that you have already given your contributions. Also, if you are not able to attend worship services, you are able to have the benefit of giving online at your convenience.
