  • faith by illustration

At Faith by Illustration we do creative things.  We want to linger longer in His Word.  It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words.

    • It is more than art.
    • It is imprinting His Word on our hearts.
    • It is using creativity as worship. He gave us the gift of creativity and we are offering it back to Him through worship and praise.
    • It is fellowshipping with others and offering support and encouragement.
    • No art skills are needed.

Supply lists will be provided and many materials are also provided.  To learn more about this ministry or to join, contact the church office at

The members of Christ Our King Lutheran Church, Saline, Michigan, established an Endowment Fund in June of 2009. Investment income from the fund may be used by members of Christ Our King Lutheran Church to provide grants for projects not included in our annual Plan of Work (for example, it may be used for scholarships to students going into full-time church work as Pastors, Teachers, DCE’s, or to students attending Concordia University; or for mission and ministry assistance and for special outreach projects).  The newly approved by-laws now include students attending a pre-school through high school LCMS sponsored program.
