Bringing people together. We believe God created us to live life in community as part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find.   Through our Adult Bible studies, we can connect and grow our faith and our friendships.   So, grab your Bible and dig in to The Word.

  • sunday mornings at 9:45 am-open to all

    Sunday Morning Bible Study at 9:45 a.m. in the Family Life Center and on Zoom

    Mission of the Messiah: Seeing Jesus in the Old Testament: Starting in September at 9:45-10:45 a.m. on Sunday Mornings with Pastor Polzin, we will be journeying through the Old Testament to find God’s clear promises to send His Son to save lost humanity. What is more, we will find that the New Testament was not the first time the Second Person of the Trinity showed up! Jesus Himself said, “It is they [the Old Testament Scriptures] that bear witness about Me” (John 5:39). Join us as we see the Messiah all over the Old Testament so that we may better understand His Mission to save us!

    Sunday Morning Bible Study at 9:45 a.m. in room 12 and on Zoom. 

    New class starts soon in 2024

    Foundations of Faith: This study examines the basic teachings of the Scriptures and provides an excellent introduction and overview. It also provides opportunities to ask questions about the teachings of God’s Word as well as information about the congregation of Christ Our King. Led by Pastor Tom and Scott McClelland. 

  • tuesday mornings at 6:30 am - men's study

    Men's Breakfast and Bible Study:   Tuesday mornings at 6:30 a.m. in the FLC with breakfast and physical distancing. We are studying the weekly Scripture readings.  All men are welcome.

  • Wednesday mornings at 9:30 am-women's study

    Women’s Wednesday Morning Bible Study: 9:30 a.m. in room 2/3 and on Zoom

    Emotions and the Gospel by Heidi Goehmann. This study combines scientific research and a Bible-based approach centered on grace. Emotions and the Gospel offers information and tools to explore how emotions help us connect with God and other people. Sections include foundational beliefs about emotions, misconceptions, ways to process emotions, and a look at emotions in the Bible. Facilitated by Deanna Lynch.

  • Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm-open to all

    Everyone His Witness: meets in the Family Life Center and on Zoom. Witness is the purpose of your everyday life. The Every One His Witness® Lutheran evangelism program considers the real world context in which Lutherans find themselves as witnesses of Jesus Christ. It puts sound doctrine into practical action for sharing the faith with the people whom God has placed alongside His witnesses in their everyday lives. Facilitated by Pastor Don and Pastor Tom.  

  • WEDNESDAY EVENINGS AT 6:30 PM-WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY

    Women’s Wednesday Evening Bible Study: 6:30 p.m. in room 2/3 and on Zoom

    This Study resumes on Wednesday, February 28, 2024

    BE STILL AND KNOW — WEDNESDAYS AT 6:30 p.m. A Women’s Bible study of rest and refuge by Deb Burma. Unpack the promises found in Psalm 46 and fulfilled in Jesus Christ. Facilitated by Ann Marie Britton and Kathy Brade-Smith in room 2/3.

  • WEDNESDAY EVENINGS AT 6:00 PM-FOR MOMS

    Mom’s Group: 6:30 p.m. 

    First night begins with a play date in the church playground. Facilitated by Jennie Polzin and Kelsey Schneider. Class with childcare will start on September 20 in room 11.

  • Wednesday evenings at 7:35 pm open to all

    Prayer Ministry: 7:35 p.m. in room 2/3 and on Zoom

    Join us for a time of intercession using the Prayer Connector as a guide.

     

  • thursday (2nd and 4th) 11:00 am

    Young at heart - for those age 50+

    Meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday each month for Bible study with Pastor Polzin. On September 8 and 22 we begin a new study, Provoking Proverbs: Wisdom and the Ten Commandments. An in-depth look into God’s wisdom that provokes us to fear, love, and trust in God above all things because God has forgiven, loved, and treasured us first.

  • new GRIEFSHARE sessions will begin FEBRUARY 1, 2024

    GriefShare is a Biblically based support group to assist people who have lost loved ones.  It is designed to help those who are grieving on their journey from mourning to joy. Facilitated by Pastor Tom, Jane and Pastor Don.
