It was asked often of Jesus during His earthly ministry. His disciples asked of Him, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?” His hometown asked, “Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary?” Even Herod was perplexed, thinking Jesus was somehow John the Baptist come back to life. In our world today, people are still asking this most important question: “Who is Jesus?” This will be the focus for our upcoming July Sermon Series, Meet Jesus: Our Unchanging God, which kicks off this year’s theme for Christ Our King, Changing World, Unchanging God. As we walk through Mark 6 together, we will find the powerful answer to who Jesus is and why He came. And when we Meet Jesus, we will find that we cannot help but be transformed, as well.
