Take advantage of July & August sales for our annual service project: SCHOOL KITS FOR LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF! This summer LWML (Lutheran Women's Missionary League) at COK will be collecting school supplies to assemble 150 school kits for Lutheran World Relief. We are collecting the following which can be dropped off in The Welcome Center: 600 notebooks (70 pages each) * 150 metric rulers (can also have inches) * 150 pencil sharpeners * 150 pairs of blunt scissors * 750 unsharpened pencils * 50 ball point pens * 150 boxes of crayons (24 count) * 150 pink 2-inch eraser We will assemble these items into kits in early September, then in October, they will be transported to a warehouse in Maryland where they will be distributed around the world (and within the US) to families in need.
