About the Series In school, every child learns both how common and essential water is for life. 71% of the Earth’s surface is covered with water, and those waters teem with life. H2O is also the most abundant molecule in any living organism and comprises about 60% of the human body. Where there is life, there is water – plain and simple. The same is true in the Scriptures. In our Lenten Series, “The Water of Life,” we will follow these waters as they flow through various Old Testament texts, and in each account, we will learn about a different way God uses water to communicate and convey the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
